COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

DEDICATED TO SAFETY

We know 2020 brought with it many great challenges and changes for everyone worldwide. The Arizona Colleen committee and St. Patrick's Day Parade & Faire committee have had many discussions surrounding safety of both our volunteers and our participants. We are dedicated to safety and confident that we can deliver a 2021 Arizona Colleen and Junior selection with style and security.

Here's how:

  1. All volunteers and guests will be required to wear masks while attending our events.

  2. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival for all parties - volunteers, contestants, and guests.

  3. Attendance will be limited in person and live-streaming will be available for those who do not feel comfortable to attend in person.

  4. All contestants, whether 6 or 26, will be required to wear face shields while on stage. They may only take them off to perform and after which they will be required to wear a face mask.

  5. Interviews for the Arizona Colleen will be held over Zoom to minimize person-to-person contact.

  6. Events will be held outside IF the weather allows - or indoors with sufficient airflow.

  7. Hand sanitizing stations will be around the facility for guests and contestants.

We greatly appreciate your compliance and cooperation with these requirements. While our program selections may have a few extra steps, we are confident that we will maintain the fun, interactive, and uplifting experience our community has grown to love.

Moreover, our 2021 title holders will be expected to share and honor their 2020 sisters' year. All participants will be welcome to events and all will receive special recognition for their success. We are one sisterhood!

The Arizona Colleen Program sincerely appreciates your help and support and we look forward to celebrating 38 years of sisterhood!
