How to be a Sponsor

We are a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit Organization and your contributions may be tax deductible.

There are several ways in which you and your business or organization can be of help.

1. Corporate Sponsorship: A budget for a trip to Ireland is provided for the Arizona Colleen to apply towards her trip to Ireland, as approved by the Colleen Pageant Committee. Participating at this level entitles you to two VIP dinner tickets, special recognition in the Pageant’s program, visual identification in the evening’s display, and visibility on stage as you present the 2008 Colleen with her travel package.

2. Scholarship Sponsorship: Increments of $500 or more for educational pursuits. All will be recognized in the program and by the Emcees.  It entitles you to two VIP dinner tickets, special recognition in the Pageant’s program, visual identification in the evening’s display, and visibility on stage as you present the 2008 Colleen with her scholarship gift.

3. Rose Sponsorship: This sponsorship enables our Arizona Colleen to compete as the Arizona Rose in the Rose of Tralee selection in County Kerry, Ireland. The first-year licensing fees in 2008 are $4,000, which includes our contestant’s housing, food, and sightseeing during the Rose Regionals in June. She will compete with approximately eight new international centers, from which one or two will advance to the 49th Annual Rose of Tralee International Festival in August. If she advances, those initial fees include her return trip to Ireland, housing, food, and sightseeing during the Festival week and televised selection. The Rose winner wins a prize package valued at $25,000 Euro including a world tour. Cost is $400 and entitles you to two VIP dinner tickets, special recognition in the Pageant’s program, visual identification on the Rose Sponsor poster on display, and visibility on stage as you introduce yourself and your business on the evening of the Pageant. In addition, your business card or name, logo, contact information and a few sentences describing what services or product you provide will also be put on our web site with a hyperlink to your web site for the following year. Photos of the new Arizona Colleen with her Rose Sponsors are posted on the web site for the following year and thereafter. She and the Rose Sponsors are featured in the Colleen Keepsake Book that is displayed at area events where there is a Colleen booth. Increments of $800 or more entitles the sponsor to the above plus two tickets to the Emerald Ball for the Arizona Colleen’s debut. [Note: all funds collected will accumulate to apply as the Arizona Rose in 2008, or if need be in 2009.] Second year licensing fees and thereafter are $2,000 per year.

4. Tiara Sponsorship: This is our full sponsorship in which you provide an escort for one of the Colleen Contestants at the Pageant. Cost is $350 and entitles you to two VIP dinner tickets, special recognition in the Pageant’s program, visual identification on the Contestant’s poster on display, and visibility on stage as you introduce yourself, your business, and your Colleen contestant on the evening of the Pageant. Also, your contestant wears a sash with the name of your business or organization on it as she mingles with the crowd before dinner and sells raffle tickets. She also wears the sash throughout the competition and to events (such as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Faire) for the following year. In addition, your business card or name, logo, contact information and a few sentences describing what services or product you provide will also be put on our web site with a link to your web site for the following year. The Contestant will be seated at your dinner table for the Pageant with your family, business associates, and friends. Photos of the Contestant wearing your company’s sash and with you as her sponsor are posted on the web site for the following year and thereafter. The crowned Arizona Colleen and her sponsor are featured in the Colleen Keepsake Book that is displayed at area events where there is a Colleen booth.

5. Claddagh Sponsorship: Cost is $250 and entitles you two VIP dinner tickets, a quarter page ad in our Claddagh Sponsorship section of the Pageant’s program and on our web site for the following year with a link to your web site if you so desire. You will also receive recognition by the Emcees at the Pageant.

6. Harp Sponsorship: Cost is $150 and entitles you to two VIP dinner tickets and a business card sized ad on our Harp Sponsors page in the Pageant’s program and on our web site for the following year with a link to your web site if you so desire. You will also receive recognition by the Emcees at the Pageant.

7. 2008 Arizona Colleen and Court gifts: Entitles you to recognition in the Pageant’s program for you and/or your business (name, address, phone number, web site, and your contribution) in the Pageant's program and on our web site for the following year.

8. Silent auction items or raffle ticket items entitles you to recognition for you and/or your business (name, address, phone number, web site, and your contribution) in the Thanks and Recognition section of the Pageant's program and on our web site for the following year.

9. Donation, Cash or in-kind gift for the Pageant entitles you to recognition for you and/or your business (name, address, phone number, web site, and your contribution) in the Thanks and Recognition section of the Pageant's program and on our web site for the following year.

10. Buying Pageant dinner tickets: Tickets may be purchased individually for $35 each.

For groups, reserved tables, which seat eight (8) each, may be purchased for $300 (a savings of $20).  All seating is reserved. Relatives of the contestants, friends, or business associates wanting to be seated together, must indicate so at the time of purchase.

11. Buying Pageant ONLY tickets: Individual tickets may be purchased for the Pageant ONLY (without dinner); theater-style seating is provided. Cost is $15.00 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.

Any one or more of these options benefits our Arizona Colleen Pageant Program. We welcome your participation at any level! We are a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit Organization and your contributions may be tax deductible.

For cash contributions: Make checks payable to St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, with “AZ Colleen” in the memo line. Mail to 3614 E. Brookwood Court, Phoenix, AZ 85048.
