As a 19-year-old student attending her hometown’s Scottsdale Community College, Jaclyn is planning a career in the pediatric surgical field of Nursing. During high school she lettered all four years in the Performing Arts. She began Irish dance at the age of seven and currently performs with the Tir Conaill Academy of Irish Dance. She recently qualified for the World Irish Dance Championships coming up this April in Dublin. In addition to dance, she also performs as a first soprano in the Scottsdale Community College Jazz Vocal Ensemble. Jaclyn’s Irish heritage descends from the Given family in the mid-1800’s who originated from County Tyrone and County Antrim.
